The invaders continue to strengthen their positions on the left bank of the Dnieper after the evacuation from the right.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are advancing the front line in the Kherson direction. This was announced by the head of the press center of the Operational Command South Natalya Gumenyuk on the air of the telethon.
According to her, the Russians continue to flee from the right bank, moving various elite units and officers to the left bank, leaving only those mobilized on the principle of "no pity."
"Our work continues, and in the meantime they are trying to concentrate their forces on the left bank," Gumenyuk explained.
She also commented on the technogenic blackmail of the invaders regarding the potential of using the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station.
"The Russians continue to blackmail that the Armed Forces of Ukraine allegedly plan to hit the hydroelectric power station, despite the fact that the occupiers themselves mined the facility and fired all Ukrainian workers, thus restricting access and strengthening the security regime. This is all evidence of the preparation of certain manipulation measures Yes, they continue to evacuate themselves from the right to the left bank, this is not happening so rapidly precisely because they use only alternative crossings, they cannot use full-fledged bridges, "said the head of the press center of the Operational Command South.
Recall, according to the General Staff, over the past day, units of the Defense Forces repelled the attacks of the invaders in the areas of the settlements of Bakhmut, Bakhmutskoe, Ivangrad, Maryinka, Soledar, Ozaryanovka, Odradovka in the Donetsk region and Belogorovka in the Lugansk region.
In addition, the Ukrainian military destroyed 20 enemy drones and other enemy military equipment in a day, and also eliminated 400 Russian invaders.
