Biden reacted to the resolution of the UN General Assembly

143 countries voted for the adoption of the resolution, five voted against: Russia, Belarus, Syria, North Korea and Nicaragua. 35 countries abstained from answering.

US President Joe Biden called the resolution of the UN General Assembly condemning the annexation of Ukrainian territories by Russia such that, more than ever, it demonstrates the unity of the world in rejecting the actions of the Russian Federation. On Thursday, October 13, the White House said in a statement.

At the same time, he stressed that Russia cannot change borders by force.

"The stakes of this conflict are clear to everyone - and the world has sent a clear message in response: Russia cannot wipe a sovereign state off the map," Biden said.

"The world has shown that it is more than ever united and determined to hold Russia accountable for its violations," the head of the White House stressed.

Recall that the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) adopted a resolution condemning the illegal annexation by Russia of the territory of four regions of Ukraine.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the illegal annexation of four regions of Ukraine: Kherson, Zaporozhye, Lugansk and Donetsk. But the enemy army does not completely control any of them.
