General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: Kharkiv region was again fired from mortars and artillery
The enemy is trying to hold on to the temporarily occupied territories, is trying to disrupt the counter-offensive of the Defense Forces in certain areas, and periodically conducts offensive operations. So, about 40 combat clashes took place at the front in a day. The most tense situation was observed in the Bakhmut and Avdeevsky directions, where our defenders repelled more than 30 enemy attacks.
The enemy fires at the positions of our troops along the line of collision, provides engineering equipment for defense lines and positions in separate directions, and conducts aerial reconnaissance of UAVs.
More than 30 settlements are under fire. In particular, Kharkiv, Chasov Yar, Popovka, Grabovskoye, Makeevka, Controversial, Belogorovka, Ivangrad, Polling, Kleschievka, Novomikhailovka, Ugledar, Nikopol, Harvest and Davydov Brod.
Also, the enemy fired mortars and cannon artillery at such settlements in the Slobozhansky direction: Krasnaya Zarya, Veterinary, Strelka, Krasnoe, Ogurtsovo, Deep, Zelenoe, Staritsa, Ternovaya and Chugunovka.
Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Terny, Soledar, Bakhmutskoye, Bakhmut, Ivangrad, Pervomaisk, Poprosnoye, Nevelskoye and Pobeda.
