Details:
Command-staff exercises with the CSTO peacekeeping forces "Indestructible Brotherhood-2022" were to be held on the territory of Kyrgyzstan in October.
Earlier it became known that Zhaparov did not participate in the informal meeting of the CIS leaders in St. Petersburg, the main event of which was supposed to be the anniversary of Putin and Tajik President Emomali Rahmon.
It was also reported that Putin was supposed to present Rahmon with the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, III degree.
Zhaparov's press secretary said that he did not go to Russia because of his work schedule, and congratulated Putin on his 70th birthday by phone.
But political scientists believe that the reason for the cancellation of the previously planned visit of Zhaparov could be the honoring of the President of Tajikistan and the presentation of the Order by the Russian President.
