Iranian kamikaze drones attack the south: Kim revealed the goal of the Russians (video)

According to the head of the OVA, the Russian army is trying to show that it "allegedly can do something," although it retreats everywhere on the battlefield.

The head of the Nikolaev Regional Military Administration (OVA), Vitaliy Kim, spoke about Iranian kamikaze drones, with which Russian troops attack the southern regions of Ukraine.

He spoke in an interview with UNIAN about how many problems these UAVs create and whether the Armed Forces of Ukraine learn to shoot them down.

"Iranian drones are an additional tool for Russian terrorism. They are cheap, they do not fly far, so this is a problem. We are learning, and they are learning. We are creating additional means to shoot them down, and they are learning to make them less heard For example, they turn off the engines and turn them on just before the impact," he said.

According to Kim, the Russians most often attack the south with these drones because they fly around known air defenses, laying low-altitude routes along a riverbed or other landscape features so that they are not detected by radars.

"As the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council said, now there is a demonstration of weakness. This is a populist step for the Russian audience, which shows that the Russian army supposedly can do something. On the battlefield, it cannot show it, it retreats everywhere. Our soldiers make their way and achieve success. But Russians need to create a picture by destroying civilian infrastructure and peaceful cities. This is, I think, the goal, "Kim said.
